About Your Therapist
My name is Anna Morgan.
I was born and raised in Poland and have lived in San Diego since 2002. I got my BA and MSW degrees at SDSU. Licensed in a state of California, I have over a decade of experience working in mental health.

I help people manage daily stressors related to career, relationships, and other life challenges, as well as deeper issues such as clinical depression, anxiety, OCD, and trauma. I work with adult clients (18+). I mainly practice CBT, ERP, I-CBT, ACT, DBT, and CPT. I offer therapy in English and Polish.

I enjoy working with my clients on identifying their patterns to then determine which traits continue to be helpful, and which are possibly getting in the way of living the life they want to live. In sessions, we usually spend some time on practical skills and coping tools for managing difficulties, but also take time to process and look at deeper issues and patterns. Each individual has different needs, so I look forward to hearing from clients themselves on what tends to work for them, if they are aware of that. And at other times, we explore it together.
Successful therapy episode is the one that ends with a client saying "I know what to do moving forward.” As humans, we are regularly presented with challenges and often have to face uncertainty. It is important to know how to navigate through life with its ups and downs.

My goal is to help you regain your confidence in being able to successfully manage through difficulties and to rediscover your ability to make decisions that are in line with your values. We provide evidence-based treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety-related conditions, using approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), along with other complimentary approaches.
